Being a first mom can be a scary thing. It is even scarier when you do not have anyone at the moment to share those jitters with. Meaning some of your friends have either had a child, or some are done having children, or some are just not there yet. Thankfully you have those friends that are social mommies, and turn you onto the essentials.
This is what a dear friend did for me in regards to Big City Moms. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, and now that I know, I will continue to recommend this event to all mommies to be.
Big City Moms is the most trusted destination for moms, moms-to-be and families. Moms and brands alike rely on Big City Moms as their #1 resource for connecting through a variety of special and customized events. Founders and sisters, Risa Goldberg and Leslie Venokur, created Big City Moms over twelve years ago with weekly events for working moms. Today, Big City Moms has over 300,000 members, a strong social media community, events every day and a trademarked “Biggest Baby Shower Ever!” event which attracts a sold-out crowd of new and expectant moms looking to find the latest and hottest essentials for a modern parenting lifestyle.
After attending the March 1st, 2016, Big City Moms “The Biggest Baby Shower Ever” I had felt like I started college for moms. Hundreds of expectant and new parents made attended the event held at the Skirball Center. I was able to check out all of the latest and greatest from strollers to bottles, car seats to baby food, and more. The 33rd Biggest Baby Shower had everything for moms and moms to be to touch, test out, and get educated on everything they needed for their growing family.
The event not only had just about every vendor I have heard about, but the event was fun! Guests were all encouraged to stop by their listening forums to guest education on the latest family tips, child safety, and mother “must knows” of importance today. There were more goodies and sips to nibble on than average events, and let’s not forget about the gift bag. This gift bag was larger than the event itself. I had never seen a gift bag so big.
What I loved most about the Big City Moms “The Biggest Baby Shower Ever” in LA, was the fact that I was able to network with so many new mothers. I found myself feeling not so alone. You could feel the positive energy from the moment you arrive to leaving. Big City Moms is wonderful, and I am grateful to the friend who brought me, to the new mothers who have also kept in touch.
Big City Moms it is a staple in your mommy to be journey!
